Dear parents, students, teachers, administrative staff, community members, members of the Board of Directors and who else wants to get connected to our school, It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Saint Joseph Primary school website. Saint Joseph school is a fully bilingual school of excellence, open to children from all backgrounds and origins with diverse cultural and religious identities. Our vision is to be a Centre of academic excellence in sciences and languages at national level with the aim of making a valuable contribution to the development of our country. Our mission is to provide, in a safe and secure environment, high quality education that prepares children to become competent, dignified and responsible citizens. Our values are: excellence, respect, integrity, leadership and innovation. Our slogan is “always higher”. The school has experienced teachers who are highly dedicated and put every child at the heart of everything they do. We all of us strive to create a collaborative culture of teaching and learning and it is our priority to ensure that our students are inspired and motivated to reach their full potential. Our Specialities

  • Ecole Saint Joseph is a bilingual school. Thus, pupils are able to speak both French and English fluently as international languages as well as their mother tongue –Kinyarwanda.
  • From Primary 1 to Primary 3, the lessons are taught in French as medium of instruction, English is taught as a subject.
  • From Primary 4 to Primary 6, the lessons are taught in English as medium of instruction, French is taught as a subject.
  • Furthermore, in all levels (P1-P6), Kinyarwanda is a fundamental subject.

P6 Learners Study Trip

On 26th  April 2024 Our school, Ecole Primaire Saint Joseph had a study trip of P6 learners at a Museum for campaign against Genocide at the parliament side.

As they had studied this unit in social studies subject as prepared by the national curriculum,
